CAKES AND SCIENCE!
For my science project this year, I'm doing an experiment involving CAKES!! I'm testing what effect different kinds of flour have on a cake, and if alternate flour cakes can be made to rise as much as all-purpose flour cake!
Chemical Reaction Cake!
Sorry there's no pic, but I just had to tell you about this!
This has got to be the best cake EVER!! All you need are two ingredients:
-angel food cake mix (or white cake mix)
20 oz. can crushed pineapple in juice
Seriously, that's all! Just combine them in a mixing bowl, and bake in a greased pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes! It's soooo cool, because when you first mix them together, there's a chemical reaction with the cake mix and the pineapple! It makes the batter get super foamy, and when you bake it, it gets really light and airy!
This cake is soooooooo good! A lot less calories than regular cake, too, because it has no butter or eggs whatsoever!
